FARMINGDALE, NY, -  In a game to remember, Michael Notias hit a career-high on Wednesday, Feb. 19 of 34 points, including six three- pointers, leading his team to a big win over rival Old Westbury. This incredible performance is just the latest in a string of standout moments for Notias, who has quickly become one of the most exciting players to watch here at Farmingdale State College, and the team's highest scorer.

#10 Michael Notias of Manhasset, NY is a guard in his Junior year here at Farmingdale, where he has played since his freshman year. Prior to his career at Farmingdale, Notias was also recognized as All-County Second Team Long Island and All-State on the basketball team at Manhasset High School. Additionally, Notias has earned Nassau County Champion, Long Island Champion and New York State Class A Champion.

Starting his freshman year off strong, Notias was one of four Rams to play in all 28 of their season games. He also made waves by ranking second on the team in assists with 51 total, as well as third in steals with 17. By his sophomore season, Notias averaged 16.7 minutes throughout the teams 28 games, as well as 7.6 points per game. He was also recognized by the Skyline Conference Academic Honor Roll, and served as a member of the Farmingdale State Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

Now in his junior year, Notias has established himself as the Rams' player to watch — but he's not alone. This 2024-2025 season, he is joined by his freshman brother, James Notias, bringing even more excitement to the court! James is also a guard from Manhasset High School, where he too was a New York State champion, two-time All County selection, as well as the 2024 Conference player of the year. While James is quickly making his mark here at Farmingdale, Michael continues to lead the way, building on his already impressive career and showing no signs of slowing down.

Each season, Notias' game seems to reach new heights. With 332 points in his third season so far this year, he’s already outdone his previous bests of 133 and 213 points from his previous 2 seasons with the Rams. He has also just added yet another accomplishment under his belt, as Notias earned second team all-conference this 2024-2025 season.

With each passing game and season, Notias only continues to prove why he is one of the top players in the conference. As the regular season comes to a close, the Rams' potential playoff run is on the horizon, and all eyes are on Notias to lead the Rams to victory. Whether by his impressive three pointers, his assists, or his overall relentless drive and athleticism, Michael Notias is a player you don’t want to miss as he looks to make his mark in the Skyline Conference semifinals and beyond.
