Farmingdale N.Y. students have been working very hard for their classwork, assignments and even tests that they deserve a break, correct? The break for a week in the beginning of the semester was good, but sometimes too much work can make someone’s head feel like they are carrying 50 pounds of weight around. Luckily for students, there are many upcoming events for Farmingdale students in October and they would love it if you would come and join them. These events are carefully handled but many club coordinators have worked very hard to make sure that the students and even people in general have a good time.

The event that is slowly coming up is called ‘Appley Ever After’, which is made by the Cooks ‘n’ Crooks. These members specialize in being inclusive through the importance of food.  If you enjoy apples and create any sweet treats with an apple such as sprinkles, drizzles, and dippings, then you come to the right event on OCTOBER 21, 2025. The place is being held in Orchard Kitchen on the first floor, so it’s for all such as dormers and commuter students to come and enjoy a sweet treat.

Another event that many people have been talking about is the Pride club event on OCTOBER 30th. This organization is benign run by powerful young adults that serves to protect and support the LGBTQ+ community or even allies in general. Their goal is to be all-inclusive that can welcome all that strives to be educated in Farmingdale State College.  This event is called ‘Annual Halloween Party’ from 6:00pm to 9:00pm in Quintyne Hall room 101. There will be snacks, treats, dancing and a costume contest for all who would like to participate.

Do you enjoy music? Entertain by seeing bands go head to head to see who plays best? Well on OCTOBER 31, 2025, the Music Club is having an event called ‘Monster Mosh: Battle of the Bands!’ The Music Club is all about giving students to explore their music talents and to connect with others who share similar passions. They don’t care if you are a professional or even starting out, they are very welcoming to the students who love making or even listening to music. The event has prizes for the winner of the band, and costume contest. The battle of the bands also has free food and free stuff that you just have to be there to see what they have. If you are interested, it is at Quintyne Patio in Farmingdale at 10am to 1pm.

All students are welcome to join in on any of these spooky and exciting events happening across campus this season. The best part is that none of the events overlap, so you can experience every single one without missing out! Whether you decide to bring a big group of friends or go solo, each event promises a fun and memorable time. These activities are being organized by some of the most creative and hardworking students at Farmingdale, who have put in an incredible amount of effort to make sure everyone can enjoy a thrilling and festive experience. So come out, show your school spirit, and make the most of this spooky season. It’s the perfect opportunity to celebrate, connect, and have a great time with your fellow Rams!
