Farmingdale, N.Y.- Route 110’s eye-catching amusement park, popular with many local families, has closed for the 2025 season and announced a “price freeze” that should continue into the 2026 season.
As entertainment costs continue to rise elsewhere, this big announcement seems to bring local families relief that their ongoing summer traditions will remain possible for years to come.
The park has announced that all admission, season passes, group packages, and birthday party rates will remain frozen at 2024 prices. General admission will stay at $49.50 for ages 2-24. $39.50 for adults 25 and older. Season passes will remain $185 for children and young adults and $120 for the older crowd. This price freeze is still in effect with these same prices for the upcoming season.
In a recent statement, Adventureland officials say this price freeze is a commitment to keeping family fun affordable, despite higher operating costs across the amusement industry.
The park's announcement comes at a time when parks across the nation are raising prices due to inflation, labor shortages or increased maintenance costs. Experts within the industry have noted other big parks raising their prices annually, such as Disney or Six Flags. This ongoing price freeze in effect shows Adventureland's contrast to many other parks and dedication to its community.
For Farmingdale residents, the park's decision added huge relief as the park holds nostalgia for many. While continuing to be a big attraction to visitors with a variety of games, roller coasters, water rides, and prizes to win.
This price freeze could potentially benefit nearby businesses in the area. Restaurants along Route 110 seem to see increased traffic during the season. Indirectly, keeping ticket prices the same brings hope to local restaurants that families will be encouraged to come out and dine with them after a fun day at the park.
Adventureland has closed late September for the 2025 season, and has begun promoting its 2026 season set for early spring. The park encourages families to buy season passes early, highlighting how the freeze allows for families to budget more thoroughly while knowing prices will seemingly increase elsewhere.
By freezing ticket prices, Adventureland is betting that customer loyalty and consistency will outweigh the short-term revenue of a price hike. The park's announcement serves as a reminder that some traditions do remain steady. Luckily enough, this tradition just became a little easier on your wallets.
