West Islip, N.Y.- With the MLB season in full swing Logan O'hoppe demonstrates how well he has played this season and how  is seriously turning heads within the Major League Baseball community and everybody from his hometown.  He is from a small town in Long Island called Sayville and attended St John's The Baptist where he absolutely crushed it. He was a true leader and one of the best baseball players in the county, if not the best. He was then drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 23rd round in 2018 and is now having a serious breakout campaign with the Los Angeles Angels that people from all over the world are paying close attention to, not just the Long Islanders.  He has now been playing with the league's biggest stars such as Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout. O’hoppe has been a major piece in the Angels success this season and his out of this world  .333 Batting average, magnificent OPS, and home run ability have definitely made a difference to a team that has been struggling. Logan is looking to revitalize the entire Los Angeles Angels organization after the LA Dodgers have dominated the California baseball scene. He also looks to inspire younger baseball players located in this great country and make them realize that if you work hard you can be just like Ohoppe and the other ball players you may look up to. Anthony Riviezzo,  a former camp participant  in this piece, helps us realize the character of O’hoppe and how great of a person he is off the field. He gives great insight on what it means to be a professional and how to carry yourself as a true leader. It's always an inspiration to see people from your hometown living their dreams and competing at the highest level of their profession. I believe this story means a lot to everyone in Suffolk County, his coaches, and teammates as well as for current players in the county right now.

Logan has become an inspiration and a role model for all Suffolk County baseball players. With baseball season back, the sun shining, and spring beginning there was no better time to talk about Logan and all his home runs on and off the field. Now remember Logan is only 25 and he is here to stay. There is a bright future for O’hoppe and the Angels, and Suffolk County is here for it.
