Thursday nights are for ladies nights at Pappa Gallo

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y-  Thursday nights are  ladies night at Pappa Gallos. Finding a restaurant on Long Island that has nights catered to a specific crowd of people who would love to listen to live music that they can dance to and socialize over drinks to is hard to find in Nassau county. Pappa Gallo is a Peruvian restaurant located in Rockville Centre. The restaurant has been open for 18 months, first opening in September 2023 and there is some speculation that they might be getting ready to open up at a new location in another town that has not been announced yet. 

Ladies can get their first drink free off the signature cocktail menu and can enjoy this while hearing great music, ladies get handed a ticket and your drink is on the restaurant. On April 10th, Ceecee a former contestant on X factor, was performing her own renditions of popular songs on stage with a live band behind her. Customers would go up and sing along with the band, bringing an energizing atmosphere to the restaurant.  Reyna Acevedo, a customer that night says that she “loves the variety” of the live music, “they play merengue,salsa bachata, which is definitely what I enjoy.”  Live music isn't only exclusive to Thursday nights at  Pappa Gallo ; From Tuesday to Friday, they have live music line ups and also have salsa brunches on the weekends. Their live music nights are posted and updated on their instagram page every week.

The owner Peter Kambitsis has so much passion for the restaurant business and it shows as he also owns two other businesses just down the street from Pappa Gallo  a latin restaurant called Mojo and a bakery called Sugar Berry. He takes pride in the fact that his businesses have great clientele and that he has some of the best pastry chefs from Europe,  including Michelin star chefs working in his kitchens. The manager Pri says "because of the live music the crowd is very lively and that the nights with live music are always fun.” 

Just because Thursday nights are ladies nights, that doesn't mean that on Thursdays nights men and children are excluded from enjoying this experience and more than welcomed to come and experience the great atmosphere and food. Pappa Gallo is alway open to families and date nights.
